My Vocation as Catholic Educator

Since I was born, I grew up around with teachers every single minute and day…why? First my mom is a retired Elementary School Teacher and my dad is a lawyer but he is currently working as a high school teacher. My grandmother was a teacher per 55 years (My mom’s mother). My mom’s two sisters are Elementary School Teachers too.
However, I did not think about become one since I was little like many people have thought after I shared that almost my whole family are teachers. It was until I graduated from high school that I thought that I wanted to become an elementary school teacher as the greatest example of my grandmother who I always admired because she worked so many years as a teacher and she always was sharing with me her stories, and told me that she was going to pray to God that I could become one like her and my mom. I am so grateful that her prayers were answered and I am one today.

I also was calling to follow Jesus' path as a teacher in a Congregation where the center is to love him and teach kids and youth to love him too. I found my place when I entered into this Congregation. I felt that all the things that I could do as a teacher, I was going to do it for Him, with Him, for Him.
I have been teaching for four years. (short journey) but I like to be a teacher with all that it takes "sweetness and saltiness". I realize how is not my work is God's work, and when I am in front of my students, I am not only a teacher, I am a learner. They have taught me how to be a teacher, how to serve God better.
Blessed be God!!!!!
